Be sure and check out the show if you’re in the San Francisco area.

For the art and music festival “Southern Revelry,” happening in Opelika, Alabama August 9th through 12th, 2014, artist RC Hagans has created a new body of work to help celebrate the festivities. RC Hagans is one of the very few southern street artists I know of who mixes southern folk culture in with his street art giving it a particularly southern sensibility. Casey Weldon will have a spectacular set of new paintings on display starting tonight, Thursday August 7th, 2014, at Roq La Rue in Seattle, Washington for his show entitled “Novel Relic.” Working to evoke nostalgia in his viewers, Casey’s work often takes the strange and mixes it with pop culture, resulting in a one of a kind style. These set of paintings see Casey particularly focusing in on technology and nature.
